EHRHARDT WINS BY LARGEST MARGIN EVER!

Dear Friends and Constituents,

I am pleased to report you helped me defeat my opponent by 3,527 to 2,254 votes - my highest margin ever!

I am also pleased to report that Doreen Costa won the race in House District 31, and Dawson Hodgson will be the new Senator from Senate District 35. North Kingstown will be well represented in the new General Assembly.

I need a few hours to summarize some thoughts on the election but, in the meantime, I will leave you with a quotation from a letter John Adams wrote to his wife, Abigail, in 1770:

"I have accepted a seat in the [Massachusetts] House of Representatives, and thereby have consented to my own ruin, to your ruin, and the ruin of our children. I give you this warning, that you may prepare your mind for your fate."

I am not so pessimistic but I understand what he was thinking.
